The City of Webster City is proud to announce the adoption of a new notification system designed to improve communication with residents. This system enables the City to send timely and relevant notifications to community members, enhancing both the speed and accuracy of information dissemination.
To leverage this innovative system effectively, all residents are invited to create a personalized contact preference profile via SchoolMessenger’s secure website. This user-friendly platform offers you the flexibility to choose how you receive communications from the city, including options for email, phone calls, and text messages. Additionally, it provides a convenient location to review any messages you might have missed, functioning similarly to a digital mailbox.
To Set Up Your Account:
- You can access sign-up by going to the city’s website (webstercity.com) or visiting the SchoolMessenger sign-up page: https://asp.schoolmessenger.com/webstercity/subscriber. Click on the ‘Sign Up Now’ link at the bottom of the page.
- Follow the instructions to create your account, including verifying your email address and setting up a password.
- Check your email for an account activation link from email@example.com and follow the instructions within 24 hours.
- Once your account is activated, select your preferred notification types and groups.
- Save your preferences and add any additional contact information as needed.
Residents are assured that their privacy is of utmost importance. SchoolMessenger is committed to protecting your information and does not sell or distribute your contact details to any third party.
The City of Webster City is excited about the potential of the new system to enhance how they communicate with our community. Residents are strongly encouraged to sign up and customize their communication preferences to stay informed about important city updates, emergencies, and community events.
