The City of Webster City in partnership with the University of Iowa’s Office of Outreach and Engagement and the Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities, will hold a celebration marking the completion of several projects in the community. The public is invited to attend the event on Thursday, May 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Briggs Woods Conference Center, 2501 Briggs Woods Trail.
Those attending will have a chance to learn about the 20 projects completed through the partnership. The event will include presentations from students in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning.
The students have made several trips to Webster City to work with city officials, business leaders and others in the community throughout the academic year.
