Crews have begun to dismantle the Wilson Brewer/Jackson Groves and Jamison log cabins at Wilson Brewer Historic Park. Heritage Woodwork Inc. of Clemons was awarded the contract in December for the project which involves dismantling the cabins, log by log. Each log will be cataloged and marked with its position so it can be reassembled in the same order. The contractor will work on shoring up the logs with the plans to return the cabin pieces to the park in the summer, when they will be placed upon new foundations which are already constructed.
