The Webster City Fire Department has announced the start of the Fire Cadet Program. This program is open to any Webster City resident 14 to 18 years old.
Requirements for consideration include passing grades in school, no trouble with law enforcement, the ability to come to a weekend academy at the station, as well as, attend monthly second and fourth Monday drills and quarterly trainings.
Attendance is important but priority will be given to school sports and activity responsibilities.
The Fire Cadet will be issued a uniform and pager and can respond to the station for calls.
