The Fair Meadow Drive Reconstruction Project begins Monday, April 15th
The first road closure will be installed. It will detour traffic around the north side of the Des Moines Street and Fair Meadow Drive intersection (click for map) to allow contractors to remove concrete and replace the water main.
This detour will remain in effect for roughly two weeks, weather-dependent.
Once the water infrastructure is replaced, the street will be poured back and open to traffic.
We'll share updates as they become available on our Facebook page. You can also sign up to receive messages directly from the City.
Activating Webster City’s Literary History and Kendall Young Library
Students in the course Museums in a Digital World developed social media and digital engagements based on the special collections of the Kendall Young Library.
The Kendall Young Library in Webster City contains unique art collections and archives that are accessible to library patrons. To increase awareness of these resources, students in Museums in a Digital World developed an interpretive plan that considered the needs of the community audience. Using the interpretive plan as a foundation, student groups then created digital engagements to be shared via social media and the KYL website aimed at engaging community audiences with the library’s historical significance, special collections, and architectural beauty.
