The Fair Meadow Drive Reconstruction Project begins Monday, April 15th
The first road closure will be installed. It will detour traffic around the north side of the Des Moines Street and Fair Meadow Drive intersection (click for map) to allow contractors to remove concrete and replace the water main.
This detour will remain in effect for roughly two weeks, weather-dependent.
Once the water infrastructure is replaced, the street will be poured back and open to traffic.
We'll share updates as they become available on our Facebook page. You can also sign up to receive messages directly from the City.
As part of the ICIGO student organization within the Department of Geographical and Sustainability Sciences, students examined wayfinding placement in Webster City, Iowa. They used Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools to identify and recommend placement locations for signage within the city.
Webster City requested assistance with several GIS projects. The students updated and maintained easement and land records, as well as examined the overall use of GIS within Webster City to determine best practices.
The ICIGO students also worked in conjunction with several other student groups to provide high-quality GIS maps and aerials for various projects.
