Tampering With Service

Tampering with the electric or water meter to avoid payment for electric or water usage or to restore electric or water service that has been disconnected is considered a municipal infraction.

A municipal infraction is punishable by the following civil penalties:

First Offense – $750

Each Repeated Offense – $1000
