Contractors’ Meeting

We’re excited to announce improvements to our permitting process and building inspection services in Webster City! Based on valuable feedback from the community and contractors, we are transitioning to a simpler, more user-friendly and streamlined system using fillable PDFs available directly on our website.

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit the “Permit Center” on our homepage to access fillable permit forms.
2. Complete, sign, and email the form along with any required documents to online_permits@webstercity.com.
3. Once submitted, your permit will be reviewed. If approved, you’ll receive a notification to make payment.

4. The permit will be issued upon receipt of payment, and work can begin. Please note that work cannot begin until the permit is both approved and paid for.

We’re also pleased to announce our partnership with V&K (Veenstra & Kimm) for building inspections. This collaboration allows us to offer reliable, expert support for your projects. V&K’s dedicated inspection days are Tuesdays and Thursdays but also offer flexibility, with on-site availability for critical inspections like concrete pours. Their dedicated inspection hotline ensures help is always just a call away. This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting developers and contractors in our community.
