In the next couple of weeks, the Webster City Electric Utility will be focusing on Route 11 (see map below) for replacement of electric meters.
If the meter is located outside the home, a staff member will knock on the door to notify you that you’re about to experience a brief interruption of service.
Most meter change outs take less than 5 minutes. However, if your electric meter is located inside the home, City staff will attempt to reach you to schedule a time for you to grant them access.
Under NO circumstances will City Staff enter your home unauthorized. Please feel free to contact the Utility Office with any questions or concerns; 515-832-9141.
