The City Council of Webster City will meet Monday evening in the council chambers of City Hall, 400 Second St., Webster City.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a period of time during which the public can express its opinion of matters before the council.
On the agenda is a resolution that would pave the way for Riverview Early Childhood Center, Inc., to purchase a portion of the former Hamilton Hospital site on Ohio Street for construction of a center that would replace the existing building on north Des Moines Street.
The city owns the Ohio Street property.
Also on the agenda is an ordinance that increases rates for water service beginning in January 2024.
The council is also expected to set a date and time — anticipated to be January 15, 2024, at 6:05 p.m. for a hearing on proposed plans and specifications and proposed form of contract and estimate of cost for construction of the East Twin Park splash pad.
In addition, the council expects to accept and executing easements with Dean Allan Gillette and
Lorette M. Gillette for the new wastewater treatment plant project.
