Inspired by the community’s passion for preserving East Twin Park, a donor has stepped forward to open a fund at the Enhance Hamilton County Community Foundation. The Fund will facilitate charitable donations for the enhancement and preservation of East Twin Park, as well as, all of the other city-owned parks and recreation facilities in Webster City. The Friends of Webster City Parks Fund will be managed by the Webster City Parks & Recreation Commission.
The establishment of this fund with the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation will allow for tax-deductible donations as well as the safekeeping and management of those funds to maximize their return. Donors may earmark contributions for approved specific projects or the general improvement and upkeep of the parks under the guidance of the Parks & Recreation Commission.
The City of Webster City wants to thank the donor for establishing the Friends of Webster City Parks Fund, which will aid in ensuring that our parks are improved and maintained through the help of the community.
To make a donation, checks can be made out to the Friends of Webster City Parks fund with the specific park mentioned in the memo line or left blank for general use. Donations can be mailed and/or delivered to the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation at 501 Bank Street, Webster City, IA 50595.
In addition to cash donations, the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation has the ability to accept a variety of including stocks, real estate, life insurance policies, closely held assets, gifts of tangible personal property and more.
