Megan McFarland is serving her first term on the City Council. She was raised in Webster City.
Megan currently works as Department Manager and Infusion Nurse at McFarland Clinic Fort Dodge Oncology office. She also serves as Critical Care RN at Unity Point Health Fort Dodge. She holds an Associates Degree in Nursing and is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
Prior to serving on the City Council, Megan’s passion for her community and commitment to help others led her to join the Webster City Daycare Board of Directors in the summer of 2021.
Megan and her husband (Josh) have two young children, both under the age of 5. Megan enjoys spending time with family, reading a good book, sharing her love for animals with her kids, visiting the Omaha Zoo every year, attending her daughters dance practices, and was recently introduced to magnet fishing.
Webster City is Megan’s home. She plans to raise her kids and spend the rest of her life in Webster City. She wants to see the community grow, continue to be successful, and hopes the City continues to make the investments in recreation and quality of life amenities that growing families enjoy.
