A fully-restored Doodle Bug scooter will now be at home in the Depot Museum at the Wilson Brewer Park in Webster City. Director of Recreation and Public Grounds Larry Flaws, left, accepted the donation from Jim Richardson of Mason City. The scooter was given in memory of his parents Kenneth R. and Ola Mae Richardson by Richardson and his brothers, Mike and Chris. The iconic red scooters were manufactured in Webster City from 1946 through 1948 at Beam Manufacturing.
