The Webster City Police Department and the City of Webster City want to alert the public of another scam reported to us. This scam involves someone calling and identifying themselves as a Webster City employee and then they proceed to state they are collecting payment for late utility bills. These calls are NOT FROM THE CITY! If you receive a call like this, hang up. The City will not conduct business in this manner. If you are in doubt, call the Utility Office at (515) 832-9141.
