The grass is growing fast these days and there has been an increase in complaints of neglected yards. This is considered a public nuisance and is addressed in Chapter 32 of the Municipal Code which outlines the maximum grass height in developed residential, commercial and industrial areas to not exceed eight inches (8”). This also includes grass and weeds along adjacent alleyways and rights-of-way.
Please realize that failure to maintain your grass and weeds may result in the City mowing your property and all charges related to said maintenance, including administrative costs, will be billed to you (Municipal Code Chapter 32).
