Grant training planned for Tuesday at Fuller Hall

A mandatory training session for those interested in submitting applications to the Hotel/Motel Tax Board for the 23rd round of grants will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Fuller Hall.

City officials said that all applicants must attend the training session.

Grant applications are due Wednesday, May 29 before 5 p.m. The first round review to determine finalists will be held Tuesday, June 4 at 5:15 p.m. Letters to the finalists will go out June 6.

The final televised presentations will be held June 25 at 6:30 p.m. with the final determination of recommendations to be made June 26.

A recommendation memo will be sent to City Hall on July 2 with the council to vote on the recommendations at the July 15 meeting.

The Hotel/Motel Tax Grants are for the purpose of increasing tourism and visitors to Webster City.
